In 2025, that work continued to move forward across multiple areas—from economic development and workforce initiatives to regional collaboration and long-term planning.

Supporting Growth and Opportunity

As Scott County continues to grow, Scott County United remains focused on supporting long-term opportunity while helping guide that growth in a thoughtful and coordinated way.


This past year included continued momentum in key areas such as:

  1. Advancing Phase III of Lanes Run Business Park, creating new opportunities for future employers

  2. Strengthening workforce development efforts through initiatives like Manufacturing Month and Career Exploration Day

  3. Supporting continued commercial, industrial, and residential growth across the county

  4. Investing in planning efforts like a countywide Housing Assessment Study


These efforts reflect a broader commitment to ensuring Scott County remains a competitive, connected, and forward-looking community.
